Against Jesus
Our Lord Jesus was "holy, innocent, undefiled,
separated from sinners" (Heb. 7:26), yet He was slandered,
rejected, abused, and eventually crucified. The Hebrew
writer says that you should "consider Him who has
endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that
you may not grow weary and lose heart" (12:3). Our
Lord suffered the rejection of others--and if we follow
in His footsteps, we also will experience the same rejection,
suffering, and persecution. In this exercise, choose the
