JESUS IS YOUR SUPPLY
We know that Jesus lived in Galilee in Palestine in the
first century of this era. He lived in history and this is
important. However, we must advance beyond this superficial
knowledge to a richer and deeper level of knowledge. We must
have a deeply personal relationship with Jesus as a Person!
Jesus not only lived and walked in Galilee two thousand years
ago; He is our risen, living Lord with whom we may enjoy
an intimate, spiritual relationship this very moment. We
may know Jesus as our Contemporary!
Jesus wants to meet you personally and fill your deepest
spiritual longings through His infinite supply. He can meet
every need you haveboth now and in eternity. "God
shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory
in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19).
Search your own heart and life. What are your deepest needs?
What are your spiritual longings? What is the quest of your
heart that you cant even articulate? Dear friend, Jesus
can satisfy your spiritual quest. As Pascal rightly stated,
there is a God-shaped vacuum in each of us that only God
can fill. God fills this inner emptiness and need in Christ
Jesus. He truly satisfies!
Please go off by yourselfaloneto a quiet place
where you will not be interrupted. Seek Jesus Himself as

Dear friend, were you able to identify with the foregoing
questions and receive encouragement from the Lords
replies? Remember that these answers of Jesus are not dead
words, but living, authoritative, and powerful truths. They
are words to you personally. Jesus declared, "The words that
I have spoken to you are spirit and are life" (John
6:63). He assures us: "Heaven and earth will pass away,
but My words will not pass away" (Matthew 24:35).
Are you willing to believe, receive, and obey them?
The world, with all of its attractions, cannot really satisfy
our genuine needs. It is folly to follow after the vain pastimes,
empty pursuits, and passing pleasures of a world under judgment.
The physical and material cannot answer our spiritual quest.
The pleasures of sex, the escape of drugs and drink, the
accumulation of wealth and material things, the exercise
of worldly power, the achievement of earthly fame and success,
the attainment of secular education, and every other earthly
pursuit will leave a person empty of true meaning and lasting
satisfaction. Only the spiritual will meet your basic inner
needs. Only Jesus can offer spiritual solutions to our spiritual
dilemma.
Jesus is your supply. He can meet and supply all of your
true spiritual needs. He gives of Himself fully, pours out
His grace lavishly, and satisfies the deepest longings of
the human heart. To the sorrowing and troubled, He gives
comfort and rest. To the lonely, He is a true friend. To
the confused, He gives peace of mind and direction in life.
To the ignorant, He gives spiritual wisdom. To the guilty,
He offers forgiveness. To the spiritually dead, He gives
eternal life. To the hopeless and despairing, He blesses
with hope of a heavenly home.
Jesus is a Friend, a Savior, and a Redeemer.
He is the Shepherd of souls and the Lord over all. He is
the Reconciler with
the Father and the Forgiver of sins. He is both man and God.
He is your Creator and ustainer. He is far more than you
have ever imagined; and when you learn more of Him, there
will always be more to learn. He is an inexhaustible resource
who can satisfy all we need and will ever need. Jesus loves
you more than you will ever know. He wants you to come to
Him to find your completion in Him!
