NO ROOM FOR HOMOSEXUALITY

The report of Ross Perot’s acceptance of homosexuality as an acceptable sexual orientation once again points up the delusion many Americans are under. The same is true of Bill Clinton as well as the Dallas and Fort Worth police departments. Regrettably, the humanistic public schools have acceptted the same mistaken theory. The delusion is that homosexuality is entirely acceptable and within the realm of tolerance.

Nothing could be further from the truth. The Christian view, which a sizable segment of society still espouses, sees homosexuality as a sin against nature and as a contradiction of our very creation when God made us male and female (Genesis 1:26-27). God made Adam and Eve—not Bob and Bruce!

Further, homosexuality or sodomy is a sinful relationship and practice condemned repeatedly in God’s Word (Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13). With reference to homosexuality, God speaks of "degrading passions," "unnatural" relationships and "indecent acts" and those who commit this sin are "worthy of death" (Romans 1:26-27, 32). The Bible plainly says that homosexuals "shall not inherit the kingdom of God" (1 Corinthians 6:9-10 and Hebrews 12:4).

What Perot, Clinton and a host of educators, entertainers, state officials and politicians need to realize is that homosexuality is not in the realm of an acceptable alternative lifestyle but is a perversion of God’s original and continuing plan for our sexual welfare. We reject this to our own personal ruin and national peril.
